Starting over...

I'm starting over...

The previous posts where I said numerous nasty things about someone I have deleted. The video which was also about that someone was also deleted off Youtube.  It was a personal project, and should have stayed a personal project, even though it was a work of art.

That part of my life is over. I've moved on, and it's all behind me at this point.

This is the start of a new chapter. 

Let's move on... shall we?

heartbreak sketch

This is a sketch I did in response to a relationship being over. I think it's right up there with some other "emotional drawings" I've done about things in the past.

All the words are lyrics to Metallica songs. The songs are: Frantic, All Within My Hands, Outlaw Torn, The Day That Never Comes, Unforgiven 3, and Bleeding Me. Those particular songs, as well as a few others, really touch on what I was feeling, and are among the most emotional of Metallica's songs in my opinion. I basically have a list of particular songs by them that mean a lot to me personally due to the emotional connection about things that happen to me at the moment, or about things of the past.

I started listening to them in 2003, right around the time I was in the middle of a major funk. Their songs spoke to me in a way that no other songs could, and it helped me start to feel better about things and get over my days of being a bully victim. So once again, when I've felt down, the music helped with the healing.

I am by no means reveling in the past at all by this picture. When stuff happens to me, I either write it down, or I'll draw it if it's even heavier. This relationship was something that really touched me in many different ways, both positive and negative. Writing and drawing about it is my way of getting over any unresolved thoughts. It's all so I can feel better in the end.
